Payment Options

Customized payment plans are available for all packages if needed.

While we are not in-network with any commercial insurance plans at this time, many insurance providers offer out-of-network benefits for Certified Nurse Midwives. If you're uncertain about your coverage or eligibility for reimbursement after birth, we encourage you to contact your insurance provider for clarification.

We utilize a third-party billing service that will verify your insurance benefits for you for a $25 fee. They will then submit the claim on your behalf.

  • Upon your request, our biller will submit an out of network insurance claim on your behalf to your insurance company. If you are due a reimbursement according to your out of network coverage and benefits, this will be provided to you 3-5 months following the birth.

    Our biller’s fees are:

    • $25 Verification of Benefits for Maternity care.

    • $50 for Gap exceptions

    • $75 for maternity services billing

    • 10% commission on reimbursement from the insurance company

    • $5 per claim charge for GYN or Lactation + 10% commission on reimbursed claims

    Please note that insurance companies don’t readily like to cover home birth services and many times the claim will be denied. Our biller will communicate with you and submit an appeal on your behalf.

    You are welcome to submit the claim yourself but there are many benefits to using our biller. Click here for more information.

    We do not guarantee any reimbursements from your insurance company.

    We encourage you to call your insurance company and ask them if they cover prenatal care, postpartum care, and/or home birth with a Certified Nurse Midwife (CPT code 59400).

  • We are in the process of applying to be in network for Medicaid, reach out for more information.

  • Christian Healthcare Ministries, Medishare, Liberty Healthshare and Samaritan Ministries all cover home birth services.

  • FSA/HSA funds can be utilized for any of our services. Use your FSA/HSA debit card when purchasing services or paying invoices. It is your responsibility to notify us if you need an itemized receipt to submit for approval.

  • We accept all major credit cards (2.99% fee applies) and other electronic forms if payment such as Venmo, Paypal, etc. are available upon request.
